Sister Simone Campbell, SSSSister Simone Campbell
, SSS, is director of Network: A National Catholic Social Justice Lobby and was the leader of two national bus tours known as "Nuns on the Bus" focused first on affordable health care and then immigration reform. She was a featured speaker at the 2012 Democratic National Convention, has appeared on the Colbert Report, Hardball, the O'Reilly Factor, and multiple other news outlets.

In her keynote lecture and conversations with students and other participants, Sister Simone will inspire attendees to consider Gospel-inspired and Catholic Social Thought-inspired immigration reform and speak from her forthcoming book (April 2014), "A Nun on the Bus: How All of Us Can Create Hope, Change, and Community." 

The event is coordinated by CILSA with support from CCIE, Cummins Institute for Catholic Thought, Culture and Action, Intercultural Center, Sodexo, Theology & Religious Studies, the Mission & Ministry Center and Women & Gender Studies.
