A Florentine Notte in Piazza: A Night at the Court of the Medici

Step into the world of the glittering Renaissance court of Lorenzo and Cosimo de Medici at our free Night in the Piazza event!
During a sumptuous performance in the Chapel with a Florentine theme, watch as Dante anachronistically introduces the great men that populated the Renaissance: Leonardo, Michelangelo, Machiavelli, Savonarola and Galileo, with a special appearance by Martin Luther. Listen to Heinrich, organist of Lorenzo de Medici's court; see the three Graces dance right out of Botticelli's "Primavera"; and hear angelic music by Lorenzo's singers.
After the performance, join the procession with the Medici to a true Renaissance banquet in Dryden Hall, complete with a whole roast pig, vegetarian pasta, salad, cheese plate and fruit, focaccia and, for dessert, tiramisu!
Everyone is welcome!
