WASC Challenges
The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) Accrediting Commission has directed Saint Mary’s College of California to take immediate action to create a more inclusive campus community, to further enhance our library resources, and to strengthen leadership and oversight of our adult and graduate programs. These goals are consistent with the College’s Lasallian mission to create a more just world through transformative education. We welcome the challenges and opportunities posed by WASC to advance the mission of Saint Mary’s College.
The following documents illustrate the concerns identified by WASC and the action underway to address them.
