Campus Initiatives
CILSA takes part in cross-campus initatives that promote service, social justice and civic engagement. In the fall of 2009 alone CILSA collaborated with the Mission and Ministry office to create an Election Day Prayer Service, with the International Studies Office for the Oxfam Hunger Banquet, and with the Honors Program in support of efforts to integrate an emphasis on social justice and service into students' curricular experiences.
Two prominent initatives in which CILSA has taken either a supporting or leading role are the Social Justice Coordinating Committee (SJCC) and AAC&U Walk the Talk's Core Commitments Project.
