Economics majors and minors who maintain a GPA of 3.0 overall and 3.0 in their economics courses (3.25 for minors) will be awarded a lifetime membership in Omicron Delta Epsilon, the internationally-recognized Economics Honors Society.
Majors who maintain at least a B average in economics may qualify to complete an honors thesis in their senior year. Honors thesis candidates normally begin the project in Econ. 120 or 142, and with permission of the instructor and department chairperson complete it in Econ. 199.
