Announcing a New Global Executive MBA Program
Saint Mary's College announces the launch of its unique Trans-Global Executive MBA (T-GEMBA) program in June, 2008. This new program combines a challenging global business education with real world experience. The School of Economics and Business Administration (SEBA) at Saint Mary's College has been at the forefront of developing a unique model of management education that prepares executives for the unprecedented challenges of today's globalized economy.
The 21st Century executive must possess a deep awareness and understanding of global business issues, fluency in strategic thinking, and a comprehensive command of core business and interdisciplinary skills. SEBA has pioneered a new model of practical, hands on business education which translates the latest theory in the classroom in to practical real-world applications through integrated experiential exercises and real-world projects. Integrated dimensions in the curriculum include global corporate sustainability, responsible corporate governance and the management of creativity and innovation in organizations and technology on a global scale.
The major features of the program are:
- Globally integrated program leveraging Saint Mary's College's unique global educational assets and locations overseas
- Carefully designed rigorous curriculum responsive to the needs of busy executives
- Innovative, applied "real world" and flexible life-long global learning model providing the latest in management theory and practice
- Focus on integrated core business disciplines with an emphasis on learning how to manage globally
- Participants take key required courses at one or more of Saint Mary's overseas locations or Lasallian partner university campuses
- Social Service Management (SOSERVMAN) and Global Business Practicum (GLOBUSPRACT) Consulting project with renowned international non-profits, NGOs and international firms integrated into program
- End-of-program foreign consulting and business trip
