MS in Financial analysis & investment management
The Master of Science in Financial Analysis and Investment Management (MS-FAIM) is focused on the quantitative techniques used in corporate financial analysis, investment portfolio management and risk management. Its blend of theory and practice provides a grounded and practical education. Students with undergraduate degrees in disciplines such as business, economics, accounting, mathematics, statistics, engineering and science do well in the MS-FAIM Program, but it is open to all who are qualified.
The MS-FAIM Program is part-time, lock-step and cohort-based and is taught over 5 academic quarters spanning 15 consecutive months. The program enrolls new students every July (Summer Quarter) and January (Winter Quarter). Classes are held late afternoons and evenings at the American Management Association's Executive Conference Center, located at the Marriott Hotel at 4th and Market in San Francisco's financial district. Students take two classes per quarter and each class meets once a week on Tuesday or Thursday from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
