American Montessori Society Early Childhood Certificate (30 units)
The Montessori Early Childhood Certificate Program prepares the student to teach young children in a Montessori classroom. The program is affiliated with the American Montessori Society (AMS), and accredited by the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE). AMS grants their Montessori Early Childhood Certificate (2.5 through 6 years) to the graduates of this certificate program. The certificate program may be completed in a 2-year program, with options to complete a M.A. in Early Childhood Education or M.Ed. in Montessori Education.
