the multiple subject Credential program
The mission of the Multiple Subject Credential Program is to prepare elementary school teachers to teach the diverse population of California children and become agents for positive social change.
The curriculum incorporates the California standards for the Teaching Profession. Those who complete the program are qualified for a Preliminary Credential, which authorizes teaching in public/private schools. The course of study includes supervised teaching palcements in culturally diverse socioeconomic settings. Both an experienced master teacher and a knowledgeable college supervisor support the clinical experiences of every teacher candidate.
