Leadership and Value Coaching Accreditation
With Brian Hall, Values Technology and Leadership Faculty at Saint Mary’s College
Do you find the intersection of values and leadership compelling? Have you wondered, how might you go deeper with the values work and apply the wisdom of the Hall-Tonna technology to your work, community and life? Do you want to be able to coach others in the practical application of values and leadership? If so, please save the dates below!
What: the Saint Mary’s Leadership Center, in partnership with Values Technology, is offering a 5-month Level One Accreditation in Leadership and Values Coaching. Completion of this Leadership and Values Coaching Accreditation will prepare learners to survey and coach their own clients using the Hall-Tonna Values Inventory. Accredited coaches will also be able to lead clients in the creation of a Leadership Development Plan (LDP) based on the client’s distinctive values trajectory, with ongoing support as the client implements and adapts the LDP to her/his distinctive life circumstances.
When: The program begins with a three-day intensive on September 18-20, 2009 and runs for five months. The face-to-face portion of the program has been scheduled for the following dates:
September 18-20, 2009
October 17-18, 2009
November 14, 2009
and a final one-day seminar TBD in January or February, 2010. Reading, online participation and practice client coaching sessions will take place during the time between the face-to-face meetings.
Price and Location: The accreditation training sessions will be held at Saint Mary’s College main campus in Moraga, CA. The price for the five-month accreditation training, including materials, meals and coaching sessions, is $3,750. The price is $2,450 for members of the Saint Mary’s Community. Partial scholarship funds are available.
Selection Process and Prerequisites for Joining the Program: Applicants are expected to have broad familiarity with the Hall-Tonna Values Survey before starting the accreditation program, so as to be able to make the most of the training. Since participants will be coming with a wide-range of experience, the prerequisites are also flexible.
