classical languages
The Classical Languages department will provide the foundation you need to enter graduate studies in classics or related fields such as philosophy, ancient history, archaeology and more. By studying the structure and history of Latin and Greek, as well as reading and discussing great works written in those languages, you'll acquire a deep understanding of how humankind communicates and pursues scholarship. The Classical Languages department works closely with the Integral Program: lower division Greek courses are identical to the Integral Program's language tutorial courses for the first 2 years. We work with you to find the appropriate courses for your needs.
