DEGREE REQUIREMENTS
Completion of the 12-course program
which includes
- 10-course Leadership major;
- Collegiate Seminar requirement - met by Seminar 109 and 163 courses
- Religious Studies requirement - met by Seminar 163
Writing Competency Requirement
fulfilled through transfer credit or CLEP Examination:
- 1 composition course with a minimum "B" grade, OR
- 2 composition courses with a minimum "C-" grade, OR
- CLEP Examination (contact Sue Costa for information).
General Education Requirement
fulfilled through transfer or experiential learning credit or CLEP or DSST Examinations
- 1 humanities course;
- 1 math/science course;
- 1 humanities OR math/science course;
- 2 social science courses.
A cumulative grade point average of at least 2.0
A total of 120 semester units
with a minimum of 56 semester units at the upper division level.
Students may earn elective credit and/or fulfill Area Requirements through
- transfer credit from accredited post-secondary institutions;
- credit from assessment of college-comparable experiential learning (portfolio developed in LDSH101 and LDSH110);
- courses in Saint Mary's OCICU program (Online Consortium of Independent Colleges and Universities); (for information contact Grete Stenersen);
- CLEP or DSST Examination programs;
- Credit from American Council on Education recommendations for military service schools or professional courses (for information, contact Annalee Lamoreaux)
