minor requirements
Minors vary considerably in the number of courses that are required an in the flexibility they offer. Students should check the SMC Catalog of Courses for minors in which they are interested and discuss it with their advisor. Special interdisciplinary or independently-designed minors may be pursued with the consent of an advisor and the L&CS Program Director. L&CS Students are required to complete at least four full-credit upper division courses in their minor fields, regardless of what minor departments require.
