JANICE GARRETT and CHARLES MOULTON present: MORE INVISIBLE STORIES
A dance concert of new works and recent hits from two of the Bay Area's most popular and respected dance-makers, showing one afteroon only
Sunday, February 28, 2010 at 2 PM
Following the sold-out success of their most recent work, The Illustrated Book of Invisible Stories, Garrett and Moulton will premiere a series of freshly minted solos, duets, and group works that continue their shared exploration of non-verbal storytelling. Their vibrant ensemble of five dancers serves as a cast of characters who bring the stage to life in a progression of dramatic episodes that arise and dissolve--each illuminating and investigating awkward, delicate, and bittersweet aspects of the human experience.
Come see what choreographer and ODC Dance Artistic Director Brenda Way has called "gorgeous...full of imagery, emotion, humor and humanity." Janice Garrett and Charles Moulton's dances are "...filled with wit and immense theatricality" (American Conservatory Theater Director Carey Perloff).
This single performance is co-sponsored by the Performing Arts Department and the School of Liberal Arts at Saint Mary's College.
