Saint Mary's College Theatre Program Presents:
At Mrs. Dalloway's Party
A Word for Word Adaptation of Stories by Virginia Woolf
While writing her seminal novel Mrs. Dalloway, Virgina Woolftookseveral detours
tocompose a series of delightful short stories. In "The New Dress," "The Introduction" and "The Man Who Loved His Kind," Woolf's innovative "stream of consciousness"narrative sets the evening's entertainment simultaneously at Mrs. Dalloway's elegant party, and inside theminds of several anxious guests.
Under the direction of Word for Word guest artist Delia macDougall, a company of Saint Mary's student actors brings to life a gallery of Woolf's most amusing characters--without changing a word of her exquisite prose.

Theo Carlile (Great Books Program) reflects on the visionary writing and social thought of Virginia Woolf. Newcomoers to Woolf's writing, devoted readers, students and audience attending "At Mrs. Dalloway's Party" will all enjoy this pre-performance event. Refreshments served.

Join guest director Delia MacDougall and the cast for a post-show discussion after the Friday, November 20th performance of "At Mrs. Dalloway's Party": Stories by VirginiaWoolf. Chris Sindt (MFA Creative Writing) will moderate.

Saint Mary's College Jazz Band Concert
What: Come get "in the mix" with the Saint Mary's College student Jazz Band, who will perform under the direction of John Maltester.

Saint Mary's College NightinGaels
The NightinGaels choir, under the direction of international opera singer Louis Lebherz, will perform a variety of choral music.

The Saint Mary's College Student Chamber Musicians, directed by Lino Rivera, Dawn Foster-Dodson and Martin Rokeach will perform vocal and instrumental music from Bellini, Bach, Mozart and others.

Altered States, Fabulous Shoes: A Dance Concert

The Performing Arts Department's Student dance troupe presents their annual Fall production. This concert features eight premiere works choreographed and performed by students of the Saint Mary's College Dance Company.
