Split Majors with Computer Science as the Secondary Discipline
If you wish to pursue a split major with Computer Science as your secondary discipline, you can choose one of the following as your primary discipline: Accounting, Biology, Business Administration, Chemistry, Economics and Physics. You'll choose the courses for your split major with the help of the chairpersons in the involved departments. The required courses will fulfill the College's Area B-Mathematics requirement.
- Lower Division
Computer Science 21;
Mathematics 27 or 30; and
The lower division prerequisites of the primary discipline.
- Upper Division
Computer Science 102;
3 additional approved upper division courses in computer science (Math 128 or Math 140, but not both, may be substituted for one of these upper division courses).
