Faculty Research Interests

Below is a list of faculty in the School of Science, arranged by department or program.  Through the links below, you can find information on any professor’s general research interests as well as ongoing research project(s).

A student with an original research idea can look for the general research area of each faculty member to find one whose interests and expertise best match the student’s interests.  The student and faculty mentor can then work together to develop the student’s general idea into a research project.

A student who is interested in research, but does not have an original research idea, can investigate the ongoing projects to find an appealing research topic.  The student can then work with the faculty mentor to develop a specific aspect of the project for his/her focus that summer.

Any student interested in research in the general areas of health science or nursing should see the faculty listings in other subject areas for possible research opportunities.

Please note, not all faculty members listed below will be available to mentor a research project during any given summer.  Be sure to check as soon as possible!
