      File the Application for Commencement Ceremony form (to Graduate) with the Registrar's Office no later than March 1, 2009.
Order your Graduation Announcements early (Jostens reps will attend the Graduation Fair).
Have your Senior Pictures taken during the Graduation Fair or earlier.
      Attend the Graduation Fair (March 3 and 4, 2009) for cap and gown sizing, order announcements, register for a Commencement Reception site, do the Senior Survey, talk with party vendors, take a senior portrait, etc., etc., etc.
Commencement Reception Site Lottery Information will be available during the Graduation Fair on March 3 and 4, 2009, and in the Student Manager's Office in the Soda Center from 8:30 am – 7 pm March 5-31, 2009.
      Make time for your Stafford Student Loan Exit Interview in the Soda Center on:
   

  Monday, April 20, 2009 (1-2 pm or 2-3 pm)
Wednesday, April 22, 2009 (3-4 pm or 4-5 pm)
Thursday, April 23, 2009 (10-11 am or 11-12noon)
Return Reception Site Lottery Forms by 5 pm Wednesday, April 1, 2009.
Return Reception Site contract and payment to Events & Conferences in Soda Center by Wednesday, April 1, 2009.
      Return Reception Site Insurance Forms to Events & Conferences in Soda Center by Wednesday, April 1, 2009.
Reception Site Lottery, Thursday, April 16, 2008 at 4:00 in the Soda Center.
Make time for your Perkins Loan Exit Interview in the Soda Center on:

Monday, April 20, 2009 (3-3:45 pm)
Wednesday, April 22, 2009 (5-5:45 pm)
Thursday, April 23, 2009 (9:15-10 am)

      If you need a sign language interpreter, inform the Office of Academic Affairs by April 15, 2009at (925) 631-4408.
Make sure your guests know how to get to SMC and arrive early!
      If your guests need handicap parking, make sure they have their State issued Handicap plate or placard and come early to ensure up-front parking.
      Take care of local hotel reservations early if your family/guests need them.  (Always ask for the Saint Mary's College or Best Available Rate).
      Take care of any needed restaurant reservations for post Baccalaureate or Commencement dinner needs.
      Tell your guests to bring a hat, water, sunscreen, etc. and to arrive early as parking and walking to the stadium will take some additional time because of the anticipated crowds.
