Tents
There are specific guidelines established by the Moraga Fire Department that govern the use of tents and/or canopies for these receptions. Tents over 200 square feet and a canopy larger than 20’ x 20’ must have an MFD issued permit. Furthermore, under no circumstances may tents be spiked or nailed into the ground since sprinkler systems and electrical systems crisscross the entire lawn areas of the campus. Only water drums may be used to hold up tents and/or canopies. It is imperative that you notify any vendors you contract with about these regulations in advance.
