tuition & fees
Saint Mary's College Program
When applicants are approved to study abroad on a Saint Mary's College study abroad program all federal, state and Saint Mary's College financial aid will be applied. Students are required to pay for the following;
- Full time Saint Mary's tuition, room and board for the semester of study
- 50% of the flight cost (the other 50% will be covered by Saint Mary's)
- Spending money while students are abroad
- Room is included, and board will be covered in most locations
Lasallian Study Abroad Consortium
When applicants are approved to study abroad on Lasallian Consortium programs, all federal, state and Saint Mary's College financial aid will be applied. Students are required to pay for the following;
- Full time Saint Mary's tuition, room and board for the semester of study
- 50% of the flight cost (the other 50% will be covered by Saint Mary's)
- Spending money while students are abroad
- Room is included, and board will be covered in some locations
Exchange Programs
When applicants are approved to study abroad on an exchange program, all federal, state and Saint Mary's College financial aid will be applied. Students are required to pay for the following:
- Full time Saint Mary's tuition
- Housing and food while abroad
- Spending money while students are abroad
Non-Saint Mary's Program
When applicants are approved by the the International Programs Coordinating Committee for a non-Saint Mary's College study abroad program, all government financial aid will be applied, however no Saint Mary's College financial aid will transfer. Students take a leave of absence from SMC and pay all cost directly to the Program Provider. Students are required to pay a $150 Administrative Fee at the time of application.
