Freshman Experience
This year we have included eight courses among our offerings devoted entirely to freshmen. The theme for the incoming freshman class is “Feast or Famine.” We have devised a unique opportunity for freshmen who enroll in these special courses. Students will meet with the primary instructor of their course three days a week in the usual 2 and ½ hour format. The fourth day they will engage in activities outside of the classroom lead by special instructors. These activities will correspond with the freshman theme and address a different focus each week: NEED, SEED, FEED and DEED. Please note that these courses are designated “FROSH EXPERIENCE” in the table of contents of courses. The page for each course description includes regular class meeting days and the day of the week for outside activities. Students should plan to devote several hours to their course on their activity day.
