Physical Therapy
The Health Science major is designed to include those courses that are required for entrance into most physical therapy master’s or doctoral programs.
These courses include general chemistry (Chemistry 8, 9; 10, 11), general biology (Biology 92, 93; 94, 95), and general physics (Physics 10, 20; 11, 21), plus courses in human anatomy (Biology 15, 16), human physiology (Biology 25, 26), psychology (140, 152), and statistics (Psychology 3, Math 4, or Biostatistics 119). Additional courses may be needed, depending upon the entrance requirements of a particular physical therapy program. For further information, contact the Director of Health Science.
