First year admissions process
There is a $55 USD non-refundable application fee for all applicants. Saint Mary's College accepts freshman applications for the Fall Semester, January Term and Spring Semester. The deadlines for first year (freshman) applications are as follows:

After the admissions deadlines, applications will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Only complete applications will be considered for admission. Applicants will be officially notified by the Admissions Committee as soon as possible.
Students who have all required application materials in by the Priority Deadline will hear back from the Admissions Committee by mid-December. If accepted, these students are not required to enroll early or to pay an early deposit. Students who have all required application materials in by the Regular Deadline should expect a response within 4 to 6 weeks.
Required Application Materials
First year applicants are required to submit:
- a completed application
- essay / personal statement
- official scores from SAT 1 or ACT
- one academic letter of recommendation from a counselor or teacher
- official high school transcript
- $55 USD application fee
