Information Sessions & Campus Tours
Prospective students find that the best way to select their college of choice is to visit the campus. The Undergraduate Office of Admissions welcomes prospective students year-round and is happy to work with you to plan a customized visit. In addition to the information session and campus tour, prospective students may meet individually with an admissions officer, sit in on a class, and eat lunch in the dining hall.
You will begin your visit with a 30 minute information session provided by one of our admissions officers. We will speak to the unique academic opportunities available at Saint Mary's College, as well as general admission and financial aid information. Afterwards you will be guided around our beautiful campus by a current student Ambassador. Student-led tours offer all visitors a chance to explore the campus and learn first-hand what it means to be a Gael. All tours leave from Brother Jerome West Hall and last a full hour. Class Visits
Because our average class size is 21, our world-renowned faculty is extremely accessible to students. During the school year, prospective students are welcome to sit in on classes (except during mid-term and finals Week). When you contact us to plan your visit, let us know the academic areas in which you are most interested so we can plan an appropriate class visit. Once in class, don't be surprised if you are invited to participate! In order to best serve you, we ask that you please give us two weeks when planning a class visit.
