tours & class visits
Student-led tours offer all visitors a chance to explore the campus and learn first-hand what it means to be a Gael. All tours leave from the second floor of Filippi Hall and last a full hour. Please call ahead to reserve a place on the tour and confirm your desired tour time.

- Saturdays: 10am only

Prospective students find that the best way to figure out if a college is a good fit is to visit the campus. The Undergraduate Office of Admissions welcomes prospective students year-round and helps them plan a visit. Prospective students may go on a tour, meet with an admissions officer, sit in on a class, and eat lunch in the dining hall.
To arrange your visit to Saint Mary's College, please contact the Admissions Office at (925) 631-4224 or 1-800-800-4SMC. In order to best serve you, we ask that you please give us seven days notice when scheduling a tour, and at least two weeks when planning a class visit. When you make your appointment, we are happy to provide directions and any other information needed to make your visit as easy as possible.
Class Visits
Because our average class size is 21, our world-renowned faculty is extremely accessible to students. During the school year, prospective students are welcome to sit in on classes (except during mid-term and Finals Week). When you contact us to plan your visit, let us know the academic areas in which you are most interested so we can plan an appropriate class visit. Once in class, don't be surprised if you are invited to participate! Please call at least one week ahead to set up a class visit.
