GET INVOLVED
Getting involved with the SMC Alumni Association is the best way to stay connected to and show your support for Saint Mary's. There are many ways to volunteer your time. You can help plan events, organize a local alumni chapter, start an alumni club based on your interests, join your class reunion committee, and become a decade agent.
We also appreciate your financial support. By making a gift to the College you can help Saint Mary's stay competitive and move up in the national rankings.
Attend Alumni Events
Join other SMC alumni at the infamous alumni socials, which are listed on the alumni events calendar. Be sure to update your address and give us your email address so we can send you information about upcoming events.
Assist with the Alumni-Admissions Program
The Saint Mary's Alumni-Admissions program is a new way for alumni to help recruit prospective students. As a member of the Alumni-Admissions Program, you provide the one-on-one interaction, personal attention and encouragement that can make the difference between a student choosing SMC or another institution. Join Your Local Chapter or Start an Alumni Club
The goals of each alumni chapter are to promote the spirit of the College through social activities, assist the College with student recruitment, support the College through the Annual Fund and promote the College in local communities. There are over 20 alumni chapters in California, the greater U.S. and abroad. Join Your Class Reunion Planning Committee
Class reunions are held every five years. Your first 5-year reunion will take place during Homecoming Weekend and all other reunions are held during Reunion Weekend. We are always in need of volunteers to help gather and maintain addresses and contact information of your classmates, to help with fundraising efforts, to help with marketing, and to help with general planning and budget issues.If you are interested in serving on your Reunion Planning Committee, please fill out our online form.
Become a Decade Agent
Every year the Annual Fund Office looks for dedicated alumni that would like to continue the traditions of our founders by drafting and signing appeals to your classmates.
