Friday, July 18, 2008 - Class of 68 Reunion Golf Outing and Cocktail Reception
Class of '68 alumni are invited to play golf at Castlewood Country in Club Pleasanton on Friday, July 18 at noon. Afterwards, you can go over to the home of classmate George Burtt for a cocktail reception. The green fee is $106 which can be paid at the course. All RSVPs need to be submitted by July 3. Friday, July 18, 2008 - Class of 88 Pre-Reunion Party. Alumni from the class of ‘88 are invited to come out to the lower townhouses on campus from 7-10 p.m. for a reunion warm-up leading into the big event on Saturday featuring a taco truck with beer and margaritas. The $25 price includes dinner and drinks. Alumni are asked to pay when they arrive, but we would like you to RSVP ahead of time so we can get a head count.

Friday, July 18, 2008 - Graduate Business Alumni Sunset Mixer. Alumni from graduate and undergraduate business and current business students are invited to come out to the Ferroggiaro Quad on campus from 6:30-8:30pm to meet our visiting Trans-Global Executive MBA (T-GEMBA) European students and our new T-GEMBA US students over wine, hors d'ouvres and classical music. Mingle and share local and global business experiences while watching the sun set over the hills. There will be a short talk by Robert Sher, Founder of CEO to CEO. This event is free. Wednesday, July 30, 2008 - Team USA Olympic Volleyball Team Send Off
The SMC Volleyball Team will host the USA Women’s Olympic team for a send-off dinner prior to their departure for the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing, China. Fans will receive a unique opportunity to show support and interact with Team USA as it heads to China in search of a medal. The event will begin at 6:30 pm with a silent auction to be followed by dinner in the Soda Center on campus. Dinner will cost $100 per plate and a table of eight can be sponsored for $1,000. Saturday, August 9, 2008 - An Afternoon at Sierra Sunset. Alumni and friends are invited to Sierra Sunset, the Lake Tahoe Estate of Clare and George Schmitt ‘65. 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. in Zephyr Cove, NV, for an afternoon of great food, beautiful views and first-class entertainment. Special Guests include Brother President Ronald Gallagher ‘69, FSC, internationally renowned opera singer Louis Perkins Lebherz and musical companions. The 36-acre estate includes magnificent views of Mt. Tallac and a sandy beach. The opening scene of the 1960s television show, Bonanza, was filmed in the meadow that is now part of the estate. $50 per person with RSVP by July 25. $75 per person thereafter. Sunday, August 10, 2008 - Summer Wine Festival. Come out to campus for the annual Summer Wine Festival (formerly named the Grand Wine Tasting). From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. there will be more than 20 wineries in the Soda Center. Along with great wine there will also be a silent auction with all proceeds going to the Lasallian Scholarship Fund which awards scholarships to children and grand-children of SMC alumni. Saturday, August 30, 2008 - Sacramento River Cats Game
The Sacramento Alumni Chapter cordially invites alumni, family and friends of SMC from the Sacramento area to Raley Field on to see the Sacramento River Cats take on the Fresno Grizzlies at a 7:05 p.m. game. This mini Battle of the Bay will offer a fun night for the whole family, including a pre-game Gael BBQ and fireworks show.

Come out to the 2nd annual Alumni vs. Alumni game. The game will kick-off at 11:30 out on Garaventa. After the game, there will be a BBQ in the grove, followed by the men’s game vs. UC Irvine at 2:30.

This is a great networking opportunity, and a perfect way to reconnect with SMC. A discounted rate of $150 was obtained for SMC alums which includes green fees, dinner and wine.
