July 01, 2008Jackie Williams Joins Graduate Business Programs
Jacqueline Yang Williams is the School of Economics and Business Administration’s new Director of Corporate Recruitment and Outreach for graduate business programs, a newly created position. She will be responsible for recruiting MBA students through corporate relations and serving as a resource to the growing graduate business alumni audience.“Jackie is an experienced professional with excellent skills in strategic recruitment and corporate relationship building. We are delighted to have Jackie on board with Graduate Business,” says Guido Krickx, Associate Dean and Director of Graduate Business Programs.
Williams comes to Saint Mary’s after six years at the University of Southern California, where she was director of recruitment and marketing for the Viterbi School of Engineering. She was responsible for creating and implementing an integrated global marketing strategy for the recruitment of Viterbi’s 3,000 online and on-campus graduate students.
“The Alumni Office has already had a number of meetings with Jackie to plan events and new activities involving graduate business alumni and their growing chapter programs,” said Lloyd Schine, director of Alumni Relations. “We look forward to further collaboration with Jackie and the graduate business department in furthering the mission of Saint Mary's College.”
Williams has a bachelor’s degree from USC, an MBA from Pepperdine University, and an M.A. in Communication Management from the USC Annenberg School for Communication. Although she’s a double-Trojan alum, Jackie says, “Even though I only started a few weeks ago, the passion and enthusiasm of the SMC students and alumni is contagious, and I’m very impressed with the strong reputation of SMC in northern California. I look forward to joining the SMC family and spreading the word about our unique graduate business programs.”
