Internships & Careers
Attention aspiring Anthropologists! Pave your way to success with an anthropological Internship...where will you find yourself?
Graduates of the Anthropology Department go on to careers in international and domestic business, teaching at all levels, public and mental health, counseling, social work, international non-profit work, law and law enforcement, museum curatorship, and archaeological and anthropological research.
You can take advantage of the exchange course program to enroll in anthropology and archaeology courses at the University of California, Berkeley, Mills College and CSU East Bay. We offer a field placement/internship program with neighboring social service agencies and businesses. Anthropology students are particularly encouraged to learn new languages and study abroad. The chair can advise students on suggested programs.
