Arizona Republic writer and chief film critic for the Gannet news group Bill Goodykoontz quoted SMC English Professor Robert Gorsch on the spate of sci-fi reboots and remakes coming out of Hollywood, such as this summer's "The Amazing Spider-Man," which is a reboot of a franchise that rolled out just ten years ago.
