annual student exhibition
Moraga -- The students of Saint Mary's College will present their annual Student Art Exhibition, Wednesday, May 6, through Saturday, May 23, in the Hearst Art Gallery on campus.
Each year the student show is organized and installed by a student committee in consultation with Hearst Art Gallery curator Marvin Schenck. The exhibition includes drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and photography, created by both art majors and other undergraduate students. Each senior art major has been given a portion of the lower gallery in which to display a concentrated body of work. Some of the student work is available for purchase.
A selection of 19th-century California landscape paintings by William Keith and his contemporaries will be on view in the Keith Room.
