i. Nominee for the Class of 2013 Senate

i. Senator Van Loon moves to nominate Senator Alberto
- 1. Seconded by Senator Salvador
- 2. Senator Alberto accepts the nomination
ii. Senator Hasse moves to nominate Senator Winkler
- 1. Seconded by Senators Sendas
- 2. Senator Winkler accepts the nomination
iii. Paper Ballot Vote
- 1. By a vote of seventeen to three, Senator Alberto is now Speaker of the Senate
iv. Senator Garcia moves for a recess.
- 1. Seconded by Senator Duran
- 2. Recess called at 9:20 AM.
- Resume at 9:32 AM; Institutional Affairs Board Inductees
i. Speaker Alberto moves to nominate:
- 1. Senator Winkler
- 2. Senator Garcia
- 3. Senator Safran
- a. Seconded by Senator Esquibel
- b. Approved.
ii. Speaker Alberto moves for a recess.
- 1. Seconded by Senator Silacci
- 2. Recess called at 9:32 AM.
- Resume at 9:38 AM; Approval of Junior Class Senator Nominees
i. Speaker Alberto moves to approve Wyatt Frei and Miriam Sentaws as Junior Class Senators
- 1. Seconded by Senator Garcia
- 2. Approved.
- Community Liaison Nomination
i. President Nielsen moves to nominate Senator Sentaws
- 1. Seconded by Senator Blain
- 2. Senator Sentaws accepts the nomination.
ii. Vice Preside Caro moves to nominate Senator Duran.
- 1. Seconded by Senator Garcia
- 2. Senator Duran accepts the nomination
iii. Senator Johnson moves to nominate herself.
- 1. Seconded by Senator Fernandez
iv. Senator Frei moves to nominate himself.
- 1. Seconded by Senator Hasse
v. Speaker Albero moves to have two Community Liaison positions.
- 1. Seconded by Senator Garcia
vi. Senator Diamond moves to end discussion and vote on the nominees.
- 1. Seconded by Senator Van Loon
- 2. The vote recorded the following:
- a. Senator Frei: four
- b. Senator Sendaws: twelve
- c. Senator Johnson: eighteen
- d. Senator Duran: eight
i. Senator Sendaws and Senator Johnson are Community Liaisons
