The Department of Recreational Sports is proud to support this co-ed club sport opportunity for all students of Saint Mary's College. We are now accepting athletes for the Cycling Team.
SMC Cycling to Take Part in "Pedal for the Planet"
April 23, 2008--Moraga, Calif.
The Saint Mary's College Cycling team will join forces with the Dean of the School of Liberal Arts, Project Green and the Campus Activities Board to put on the third annual "Pedal for the Planet" event, on Wednesday, April 23.The event is aimed at promoting bicycling as a sustainable, eco-friendly and fun way to replace your automobile.
From 7:30 to 11:30 a.m., SMC community members who ride their bikes on campus will be treated to breakfast and an event t-shirt (while supplies last). There will also be a raffle with prizes to win! In addition, local Lamorinda community members will receive a free ticket to the College's lunchtime barbeque in Ferroggiarro Quad.
