Lecture: Behold The Splendor: A Biblical Vision for an Ecological Theology Rooted in the Transformative Power of Creation
Who: Sister Carol Dempsey, OP, University of Portland, Dr. Dempsey has expertise in both the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. She recently published a series of eighteen lectures on CD's, Understanding Old Testament Prophets (NowYouKnowMedia, 2010). She is the lead editor and a contributor to an exciting new interdisciplinary series for Orbis Books entitled Theology in Dialogue; the first volumes will begin appearing in 2011.

When: Monday, March 28, at 7:30 p.m.

Background: The lecture is part of the Theology & Religious Studies Department Bible Speaker Series at Saint Mary's College.
