Boston Review, a bi-monthly magazine about literature and politics, features a review of Brenda Hillman's new book of poetry Seasonal Works with Letters on Fire, the fourth book in the Saint Mary's English professor's poetry series about the four elements. The article "A World in Flames," written by poet Dana Levin, offers high praise for the latest work by Hillman, saying it "reminds us that one of the functions of art is to disturb: to startle us out of the ossified, inflexible forms of the routine and conventional." Boston Reviw appears in print six times a year and online at bostonreview.net. It also co-publishes Boston Review Books with MIT Press. Read the review.
