On the unanimous recommendation of the College’s Board of Trustees, Brother Stanislaus Campbell reappointed Brother Ronald Gallagher to a second four-year term as president of Saint Mary’s College beginning July 1.
“Brother Ronald has acted methodically and purposefully to build and strengthen Saint Mary’s over the past 4½ years,” Brother Stanislaus said. “His ability to keep Saint Mary’s focused on strategic priorities such as further enhancing the excellence of the academic core of the College, ensuring the quality of the student experience, maintaining affordability, seeking efficiency and effectiveness and maintaining momentum on strategic initiatives in the midst of these trying times has been commendable.”
Brother Stanislaus said that Brother Ronald has advanced the College’s reputation in academics, athletics and spirituality.
“As we approach the celebration of our sesquicentennial in 2013, we are confident that with Brother Ronald’s leadership the liberal arts, Catholic and Lasallian traditions that have guided our beloved College in the past will continue to be nurtured and provide inspiration to our entire community in the future.”
