Editorial staff also ensures adherence to College editorial standards, writes and edits stories appearing on the College website and copy appearing in many print publications, and works with Alumni Relations in producing SMC Update, a monthly e-newsletter sent to College alumni and alumnae containing profiles, news and events of particular interest.

•  Development, implementation and maintenance of a content strategy for Saint Mary’s communications media, including publications, social media, website, marketing materials

• Ensuring that these communications are consistently reflective of the institution’s core values, serve Saint Mary’s goals, promote its strengths and serve our diverse audiences
• Provide quality text in the various forms needed for publications, marketing materials, speeches and other communications.
• Edit or oversee editing of publications, including the Saint Mary’s magazine, the Bulletin and others
•  Provide leadership and guidance to SMC clients for development of effective marketing materials
