Each October the WRC, Hermanas Unidas and partners across campus come together to honor the life of Alumnus Catalina Torres. Torres was a DV survivor, who dedicated much of her life to helping other women overcome DV, until she was tragically killed in a DV incident. The event takes place in conjunction with Domestic/Dating Violence Awareness Month. Join us for an evening of story telling, spoken word performances, songs and a walk around campus in honor of the life of Catalina Torres and the many other women and men whose lives have been taken or impacted by violence.
