The increasing numbers of military veterans enrolled at SMC captured the attention of the Catholic Voice. Reporters from the newspaper of the Oakland diocese visited the campus to cover the Veterans Day Mass in the College Chapel last month. Associate editor Michele Jurich spoke with several Saint Mary's students, including junior Shomari Carter, senior Issac Morton and sophomore Andrew Stevens about returing to college after serving in the armed services.
