Submissions for Spectrum and The Undergraduate
The Undergraduate specifically showcases writing from the Seminar Program. As such, papers are usually endorsed and submitted by students' Seminar professors. We encourage all Seminar professors to submit outstanding student work so that it can be shared with the larger SMC community.
ATTENTION: For the first time, students may submit their OWN Seminar papers to The Undergraduate!
Spectrum is an open journal that honors writing from all disciplines. Please feel free to submit any of your work from the calendar year 2014 for next year's edition of Spectrum.
We accept writing from all disciplines. The papers must be from an SMC class taken in the calendar year 2014 (Jan Term 2014-Fall Semester 2014).
If you would like to be considered for next year's journals, please email your essay/piece of writing as an attached Word document to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Subject of your email should be: Spectrum Submission 2015 (Your Name) OR Undergraduate Submission 2015 (Your Name)
Please be sure to include this subject line, or we will not be able to find your submission.
The submissions will be judged during Jan Term 2015 and the winners will be celebrated during the Spring Semester of 2015.
