Saint Mary’s College has a new visual identity and accompanying style guide, which was developed to help the community follow the standards for using the College’s logo, seal, colors and typography in printed and electronic materials, including brochures, posters, invitations, correspondence, e-newsletters and websites.
As the style guide notes, the cornerstone logo of Saint Mary’s College of California is a powerful visual expression of our identity. It is bold and direct, classically simple yet sophisticated and dynamic — conveying the balance of tradition and innovation that makes Saint Mary’s unique.
This style guide will help strengthen Saint Mary’s brand identity so that all communications from the College will have a unified and consistent visual presentation. This will allow the various constituencies at Saint Mary’s, including students, parents, prospective students, alumni, donors, faculty and staff along with other communities, to be able to distinguish our communications from those produced by other institutions.
The style guide also includes information on the use of the College’s athletic logo.
