Composition Colloquium
The Composition Program in conjunction with the MFA program will offer a day-long Composition Colloquium to all composition faculty, teaching fellows, interested current MFA graduate students, and alumni. For those of you interested in teaching this is a great professional development opportunity you won't want to miss.
The day long colloquium will be divided into sessions and participants should feel free to attend some or all, with the beginning of the day dedicated to the foundations of teaching a composition course. This year, the focus will be on English 4 and the new common syllabus. A portion of the day will be devoted to a discussion of English 4’s new learning outcomes.
The Composition Colloquium will be free of charge and will include a light breakfast and lunch.
Please stay tuned for updates on location, topics discussed and an agenda for the day.
