The Contra Costa Tines profiled "LWM Encounters," the new wildlife iPhone app created by Saint Marys math and science majors for the Lindsay Wildlife Museum. The CC Times article "An app for 'Encounters' with local wildlife," features an interview with Mathematics and Computer Science Professor Weiwei Pan, who served as the project manager on the effort and as a developer on the Saint Mary's team that created the app.
Recent graduate Elliott Battle '14, who was part of the five member student development team, was also interviewed about the wildlife app. Other members of the team include Marcos Avalos '14, Anthony Braddick '14, Katy Duran '15 and John Spalluzzi '15. LWM Encounters is now available as a free download in the iTunes Store. Read the CC Times story.
