Contra Costa Times Quotes SMC's Barbara McGraw In Story About Higher Ed and 9/11

As part of the Bay Area News Group's coverage of the tenth anniversary of 9/11, the Contra Costa Time's Higher Education Reporter Matt Krupnick turned to Professor Barbara McGraw for her insights on how the September 11, 2001 tragedy affected academia in general and how professors incorporated the terrorist attacks into their classrooms. Among other things, McGraw, who heads up the College's Center for Engaged Religious Pluralism, points to the rise in interest in Islamic studies and inter-religious dialogue from colleges and universities across the nation.
