Contra Costa Times Reports on Occupy SMC Teach In
The Contra Costa Times covered the "Occupy SMC Teach In" at the College. Scores of students gathered on the Chapel lawn at Saint Mary's for the two-day (Nov. 2 & 3, 12:30 to 2:00pm) event in solidarity with the Occupy College movement, which is happening across more than 80 campuses in the nation, and about a dozen in California. The SMC “Teach-In” is aimed at raising awareness on campus about the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) movement.
