Most of us are on the internet daily; checking email, surfing the Web, paying bills, shopping, or sharing photos or networking via a number of Social Networking sites (Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc).
But, do you know how safe you are online? What's the government doing to protect you? What's your bank doing to protect your money? How are your actions impacting your personal information privacy?
In this session, former Internet Security Advisor to the President of the United States and internationally known public speaker, Rand Morimoto, will share best practices on what you can do every day to minimize your risks (identity theft, stolen personal information, etc.) as you traverse the information superhighway. Additionally, Paul Stich, CEO of Dasient (and former VP of Global Telecommunication Solutions at McAfee); and Mark Kadrich, CEO of The Security Consortium, will offer their insights on cyber-security.
Rand, Paul and Mark will share insight to the mind of the hacker, what they're looking for, and the top 10 things you can do to protect yourself.
