In "The Ghosts of Abu Ghraib," filmmaker Rory Kennedy looks beyond the headlines to investigate the psychological and political context that led to the scandal at the Iraq prison. Kennedy sheds light on the abuses that took place there in remarkably candid, in-depth interviews with Iraqi victims (interviewed in Turkey after arduous attempts to meet with them) and guards directly involved in the torture. Following the film, a facilitated dialogue will take place among the audience.
