Cost

Program cost of SMC study abroad partner and a $500 SMC administrative fee

Housing

Students live in Spanish-speaking private homes or student residencias.  Students may have their own room or may share their room and/or homestay with another CIEE student depending on availability.

Aix-en-Provence Program Highlights

• Students choose from courses in archaeology, art (painting and drawing, sculpture, arts management, architectural design), business, communications, creative writing, French language and literature, history, and photography
• Travel to  regional excursions, and extracurricular activities such as winte tastings and course trip
• Earn 1 SMC credit (3 weeks) and 2 SMC credits (6 weeks) during the summer

• 3 weeks= $4,040
• 6 weeks= $6,640

Housing

Students will live with a homestay family located near the Center, approximately a 15 to 35 minute walk from class. Homestay is a great form of housing because it provides an immediate introduction to French life and the community, and is a great incentive to learn the language. Homestay is also an incredible opportunity to form lifelong relationships with a host family.
