Dear members of the SMC community,

On December 23rd, CaTS (soon to be IT Services) will observe a lengthened Sunday maintenance window.  Because of the nature of the work that needs to be performed, we will be expanding our window from our normal 6am – 10am time frame to a 6am - 8pm time frame.  There will be internet and telecommunications service outages during this time.  As always, we will work to minimize both quantity and length of said outages.  Examples of services that will be unavailable from off campus include GaelMail, Moodle, GaelXpress, Colleague and my.stmarys-ca.edu.  The College's external web site, and 911 emergency services will remain available for the duration of the maintenance window, however.
