MARY Magazine welcomes work from established and emerging writers and artists. Our only standard is excellence.

Guidelines:

• E-mail submissions as Microsoft Word files to mary@stmarys-ca.edu. Artists, please send jpgs or gifs through e-mail. New media and sound artists should include their work as QuickTime, Windows Media Player, or MP3 files on CDs sent to:

• Only one work of fiction or nonfiction may be submitted per e-mail, and no more than six poems or images at a time.
• Your name, address, phone number, and e-mail address must be in the body of your e-mail. The subject line should notify us of the genre to which you're submitting—FICTION, NONFICTION, POETRY or ART. If you have never been published before and want to be considered for our NouVeau section, mention this in the body of your e-mail.
• Please let us know immediately if your work has been accepted elsewhere.

Our submission period for our Winter issue begins September 1 and concludes December 1, 2009. Submissions for our Summer issue will be considered from January 1 to April 1, 2010.
