Event Description: 

Filmmaker Jody Swilky will address the changing cultural landscape of Perry, Iowa. His documentary chronicles the rapid ethnic diversification of the town when an influx of Latino workers and their families came to work at the local meat packing plant in this predominantly white community. Swilky is a professor at Drake University. This event is part of Saint Mary's College's Social Justice Speaker Series and is sponsored by Jan Term.
