Sofia: A Journal of Teaching, Learning and Visual Literacy
offers a national forum for innovations in the scholarship of teaching and learning. Sofia is also a place where educators can share advances in the study and of the study, teaching and implications of visual literacy. Since its inception as a discipline in the late 1960s, visual literacy has expanded as a pedagogical approach and has been embraced by educators in a wide variety of academic fields (including art history, computer science, law, linguistics, medicine, and psychology.)
