SOFIA: A Journal of Teaching, Learning and Visual Literacy
Sofia: A Journal of Teaching, Learning and Visual Literacy
offers a national forum for innovations in the scholarship of teaching and learning. Sofia is also a place where educators can share advances in the study and of the study, teaching and implications of visual literacy. Since its inception as a discipline in the late 1960s, visual literacy has expanded as a pedagogical approach and has been embraced by educators in a wide variety of academic fields (including art history, computer science, law, linguistics, medicine, and psychology.) The journal welcomes theoretical and historical writings, case studies, and explorations in new classroom practices. For submission guidelines, please contact the editor at firstname.lastname@example.org.
